About the Birk
Named for the birch groves outside our workshop, the Birk is a low, generous sideboard drawn for the wall a television used to own. Two soft-close cabinets flank a central bank of three oak-fronted drawers, and the sliding doors are wrapped in a natural linen weave that keeps clutter out of sight without shouting. The carcass is solid oak throughout — no veneer, no chipboard — finished in a hardwax oil you can spot-repair at home.
It arrives fully assembled, feet already levelled, so the only job left is deciding what goes inside.

Delivery & lead time
Because each Birk is built to order in your chosen wood, it ships in 5–6 weeks. Two of our team carry it into the room of your choice and take all packaging away. Delivery is free over $600 and $49 below that.
Caring for the oil finish
Wipe with a barely damp cloth and dry the same way. Twice a year, or after a spill leaves a pale mark, rub a little of the hardwax oil we include into the grain with a lint-free cloth. No sanding, no specialists.
Returns & the 100-night trial
Live with it. If within 100 nights it isn't right, tell us and we'll collect it and refund you in full — no restocking fee. Returned pieces are refinished and rehomed, never scrapped.
