The house rules, in short
Hours & late pick-up
We're open 7:00am–6:30pm, Monday to Friday. A $1/minute late fee helps our teachers get home to their families too.
Sick-day policy
Please keep little ones home with a fever over 100.4°F until 24 hours symptom-free. It keeps every gumdrop healthy.
What to pack
A change of clothes, a comfort item for nap, and sunscreen in summer. We provide meals, diapers, and wipes.
Meals & allergies
Menus rotate every four weeks and are nut-free. Tell us about allergies and our kitchen plans safe swaps.
Holidays & closures
We close for ten federal holidays and two staff training days a year. The full calendar lives in the parent app.
Safety & pick-up
Keypad entry, secure sign-out, and an approved pick-up list mean only your trusted people take your child home.

Yes — diapers, wipes, and all meals are included in tuition for our infant and toddler rooms. Just pack a comfort item and a change of clothes.
Absolutely. Enrolled families are welcome anytime, and the parent app lets you check photos and nap logs whenever you'd like a peek.
Our whole kitchen is nut-free. We build an individual care plan for every allergy, and staff are trained in EpiPen use and posted with each child's plan.

Yes. Little Gumdrops holds state license #DC-40921, carries full liability coverage, and every teacher is CPR and first-aid certified.
