The 17th of May, 2026 · Ostuni, Italy

We're running away to say I do.

just the two of us — and you

After four years, one very long train ride, and a proposal neither of us saw coming, we're eloping to a white-stone town on the Adriatic. Fourteen chairs, one cliff at golden hour, and the people we love most. Here's everything you'll need to be there.

A note from us

We chose small on purpose.

We spent a long time imagining a big day and slowly realized we wanted something quieter — a marriage more than a production. So we're keeping the guest list to fourteen, trading a ballroom for a cliff, and pouring what's left into the years that follow. If you're reading this, you're one of the fourteen. That is not an accident.

— Elena & Theo

How we got here

Four years, told in five moments.

None of it was planned, which is exactly why it worked. Here's the short version of a very good story.

  • 2022

    A wrong platform in Bologna

Theo boarded the wrong train and sat across from Elena for three hours. Neither of us got off at the right stop.

  • 2023

    The apartment with no furniture

We moved in together with two chairs and a record player. We still have the record player.

  • 2024

    The dog, then the plants

We adopted Ziggy, kept eleven of thirteen plants alive, and learned we were a very good team under pressure.

  • 2025

A proposal at the kitchen sink

No candles, no drone, no speech. Just a Tuesday, a ring in a coffee mug, and a very easy yes.

  • 2026

    We run away to Puglia

Fourteen chairs on a cliff in Ostuni, the sea below, and everyone who made us us. This part, we hope, lasts the longest.

The day itself

One evening, fourteen chairs, one cliff.

When

Sunday, May 17

Arrival at 6:00 in the evening. Ceremony begins at 6:30, timed to the light. Dinner directly after, under the olive trees.

Where

Masseria del Vento

A restored farmhouse on the cliffs outside Ostuni, twelve minutes from the old town. Full address and a pin land in your inbox once you reply.

What to wear

Warm, unfussy linen

Think seaside elegance in soft, faded colors. Flat or block heels — the ground is old stone and we'd like you upright for the toast.

Intimate by design

A guest list of exactly fourteen

We're keeping things tiny, which is why your seat matters so much. We'd gently ask that this one stay just for the two of us and you — no extra plus-ones this time, and children are having their own adventure back home.

Getting there

A few notes for the journey.

Fly into Brindisi (BDS)
Forty minutes from Ostuni. Bari (BRI) also works and is roughly ninety minutes by car. Both connect easily through Rome or Milan.
Rent a small car
The masseria sits down a country lane, so a car is the easiest way in and out. We'll arrange shuttles for the ceremony itself if driving isn't your thing.
Where to stay
We've held a handful of rooms at the masseria and a boutique hotel in the old town under “Elena & Theo.” Reply first and we'll send the booking link and codes.
Come a little early
Puglia in May is warm, slow, and full of good tomatoes. If you can spare the days, arrive Friday and let us feed you before the main event.
The weekend, hour by hour

How we'll celebrate together.

  • Fri

    Welcome dinner in town

An unhurried, long-table dinner in Ostuni's old quarter, 8:00 in the evening. Orecchiette, local wine, and no seating chart.

  • Sat

A free day by the sea

Wander, swim, nap. We'll gather in the late afternoon for aperitivo on the terrace before an early night — big day tomorrow.

  • Sun

    The vows, then the feast

Ceremony on the cliff at 6:30, followed by a garden dinner, toasts, and dancing under the olive trees until the candles give out.

  • Mon

    A slow farewell breakfast

Coffee, pastries, and last hugs on the terrace from 9:00. No agenda — just a soft landing before everyone scatters home.

“They didn't want a spectacle. They wanted a marriage. Watching the two of them choose fourteen people and a cliff over four hundred guests told me everything about the life they're building.”

Before you ask

With only fourteen seats, we've invited each person by name this time. If your invitation includes a guest, it'll say so on your RSVP — otherwise, we'd love to have just you.

Kindly reply

Save us a seat on the cliff.

Let us know by April 1. Once you reply yes, we'll send the exact address, a lodging link, and the full weekend guide within a day or two.

we truly hope it's a yes
