Our story
A small studio that believes in slow flowers
Petal & Moss began at a Saturday market stall in 2014 with a single bucket of dahlias. A decade later we're a corner shop on Maple Row, still arranging everything by hand.
We started with a simple idea: flowers should feel like they were picked that morning by someone who loves them, not pulled from a cooler in a rush. Every bouquet that leaves our door is conditioned, hand-tied, and wrapped with the same care whether it's a $54 posy or a full wedding.
We buy seasonally and locally whenever we can — from a rose grower two towns over, a dahlia farm up the valley, and our own little cutting garden behind the shop. That means our palette shifts with the year, and we think that's the whole point. Spring is all ranunculus and sweet peas; autumn turns to dahlias, amaranth, and rust.
We'd rather make a hundred beautiful things well than a thousand in a hurry.
These days it's a team of four, a temperamental delivery bike, and a lot of buckets. Thank you for letting us be part of your birthdays, your apologies, your big days, and your ordinary Tuesdays.

We buy from nearby growers first and let the season set the palette, so stems last longer and travel less.
Low-waste
No floral foam, ever. We wrap in kraft paper and compost every trimming behind the shop.
Real people
A person reads every order and writes every card. Call us and a florist picks up, not a menu.
