Atelier Maren is a residential interiors studio working across London and the Mediterranean. We restore, renovate and furnish houses for people who intend to stay in them — slow projects, honest materials, and a palette drawn from clay, chalk and worn oak.

A full refurbishment of a Victorian terrace for a family of five — limewashed walls, a rebuilt staircase in fumed oak, and a kitchen organised around a single reclaimed marble slab.

Maren gave us a house that photographs beautifully but, more importantly, one that works on a wet Tuesday in February. Nothing is precious; everything is considered.
