How a batch happens
Made slowly, on purpose
- 01
We decide what the house needs
A batch starts with a gap — a mug that pours badly, a board that warped. We sketch until the object earns its place.
- 02
We make the whole run ourselves
Eighteen to sixty pieces, thrown, carved, or woven in the workshop. Each one is stamped with its batch number before it leaves the bench.
- 03
We ledger it, then let it go
Every batch is entered in the ledger with its count and date. When it sells through, it's gone until we make it again — no reprints, no rush.

“The board arrived wrapped in paper with its batch card tucked inside — number 17 of 24, oiled on a Thursday. I've never known this much about anything I own.”
Marta H. — Aarhus, batch no. 34

Object of the season
The Linden serving board
Cut from a single plank of Jutland oak, eased at the edges, and finished with food-safe oil we blend ourselves. It will outlive the kitchen it lands in — and we'll re-oil it for free whenever it comes home.
Solid oak · 42 × 24 cm · Batch no. 40
Plain materials
Oak, clay, linen, beeswax. Nothing we can't name.
Made in our workshop
Every piece passes through six hands, all ours.
Repairs for life
Send it back and we mend, re-oil, or re-fire it.
Plastic-free post
Paper, wood wool, and string. Compost the lot.
Visit
The workshop shop
Two days a week we sweep the sawdust, open the front room, and sell straight off the bench. Seconds and one-offs live here only — they never make it online.
