Everything about the two modes, the seven agents, ownership and security. Can't find it? We're one message away.
The basics
What is Dual7?
Dual7 is an AI platform with two modes. Vibe Mode builds fast — prompt to working app in minutes. Governed Mode runs seven specialist agents that take the same project to production-grade code you own. Two modes, seven agents.
Who is it for?
Teams that need to move fast and ship something the enterprise can trust — founders prototyping an MVP, internal teams building tools, and engineering orgs taking products to production with governance and ownership.
Is it available today?
Dual7 is in early access. You can start free with no credit card, and talk to us about enterprise engagements when you're ready to take features to production.
The two modes
What's the difference between Vibe and Governed Mode?
Vibe Mode is direct and fast — describe a change and it's made. Governed Mode routes the same change through the seven stages — requirements, plan, UX, schema, stories, build and publish — with sign-off gates and a full audit trail. You switch between them per feature, with no rebuild.
Do I have to choose one mode for the whole project?
No. A project is a set of features, and each one carries its own state. Vibe the features that are still moving, certify the ones ready to ship — they never block each other.
What does 'certifying' a feature do?
It sends that feature through all seven agents — requirements, plan, UX, schema, stories, build and publish — each with its own checkpoint, ending in production code that traces back to your prompt.
The seven agents
Are the seven separate models?
No — they're specialist agents with scoped roles and context, so each does one job well and hands off cleanly, instead of one model trying to hold the whole app in its head.
Where are the human checkpoints?
At minimum: scope (Requirements), migrations (Schema), and security sign-off (Security). Nothing reaches production without approval.
Ownership & code
Do I really own the code?
Yes. You can export the entire React, Node and Postgres repository and run it anywhere. There's no proprietary runtime and no locked backend, so you're never tied to Dual7 to keep your software running.
How is Dual7 different from Lovable or Bolt?
Dual7 takes the same project all the way to certified, owned production software — no rebuild required. Lovable and Bolt are great at the prototype, but the code isn't built for production and the backend is often locked to their platform.
Can I run it on my own infrastructure?
Yes. Because you get the full standard repository, you can deploy it to your own cloud, VPC or on-prem — wherever your team already runs software.
Security & enterprise
Is it safe for production?
Yes — Governed Mode is built for it: multi-tenant Postgres with row-level security and RBAC, a security audit on every certified change, human sign-off gates, full traceability, and audit logs on by default. SOC 2 is in progress.
How does it handle multi-tenancy?
Schema-per-tenant Postgres with row-level security and RBAC are built in from the start — isolation is the default, not a later migration.
How does pricing work?
