What does Dual7 mean?
Dual7 stands for two modes and seven stages. Governed mode takes your idea through 7 structured stages — Requirements, Plan, UX, Schema, Stories, Build, and Publish — producing auditable, production-ready code. Vibe mode lets you describe a change and see it live, instantly. Same project. Same codebase. You own both.
What is a credit?
A credit is the unit of compute that powers every Dual7 action. Governed planning stages use 2–3 credits each. Implementation tasks range from 4 credits for a simple edit to 18 credits for a full UI + API + Backend + DB build. A complete governed feature uses approximately 22 credits end to end. Vibe mode quick edits start from 4 credits.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan gives you 50 credits every month at no cost — enough to run a full governed planning cycle and an implementation run. No credit card required. Free projects run as a live preview inside the platform; upgrade to Starter to export your code.
What's the difference between Governed and Vibe mode?
Governed mode runs your feature through all 7 structured stages — requirements, plan, UX, schema, stories, build, and publish — with full audit trail, multi-tenant Postgres, RBAC, and production-grade output. Vibe mode is for when you already know what you want — describe a quick change and see it live. Both modes produce code you own and can export.
What's the difference between monthly and annual billing?
Annual billing saves you 20%. Credits and features are identical — you just pay upfront for the year.
Can I buy more credits if I run out?
Yes. On-demand top-up packs are available on Starter and above from the portal. Credits never expire.
Do I own the code my projects generate?
Yes. From the Starter plan up, Dual7 generates React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL code you can export to GitHub and run anywhere, forever. Build Once. Own Forever. The Free plan runs as a live preview inside the platform — upgrade to Starter to export.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. Unused credits on annual plans are prorated at the point of change.
How does Enterprise pricing work?
Enterprise is priced based on team size, usage volume, and deployment model (cloud or self-hosted). Most Enterprise engagements start from $2,000/mo. Book a strategy call and we'll scope a package around your requirements.
What happens to unused credits?
Credits roll over on Pro (up to 25%) and Enterprise plans. Free and Starter credits reset monthly.
