Replit has four public plans in 2026. Starter is free, Core is $25 a month or $20 a month when billed annually, and Pro is $100 a month or $95 a month when billed annually. Enterprise uses custom pricing, while Replit bills Agent and cloud services by usage.

Replit's credits cover more than chat, so an app can also use the balance for publishing, databases, storage, and other services. Agent uses effort based pricing, which means a small edit and a complex feature can use different amounts. This guide explains the plans, billing terms, task costs that are not publicly listed, and the fit for each kind of buyer.

TL; DR

  • Starter costs $0. It includes daily Agent credits, monthly cloud credits, Lite build, and one published app that goes down after 30 days. The public pages do not state the dollar value of the free credits.
  • Core costs $25 per month on monthly billing. It costs $20 per month when billed annually and includes $25 of monthly credits, up to five collaborators, Full build, connectors, Plan Mode, and unlimited published apps.
  • Pro costs $100 per month on monthly billing. It costs $95 per month when billed annually and includes $100 of monthly credits at the baseline tier, up to 15 collaborators, up to 50 viewers, up to 10 parallel tasks, Turbo mode, and premium support.
  • Enterprise has custom pricing. It adds custom seats, SSO and SAML, advanced privacy controls, dedicated support, and other enterprise features.
  • Core annual billing saves $60 per year compared with twelve monthly payments. Pro annual billing also saves $60 per year. The savings are calculated from the displayed monthly and annual equivalent prices.

Replit describes the paid balances in dollars. The cost per credit column compares the plan fee with the stated monthly credit allowance. It does not tell you how many Agent requests, database operations, or published-app visits that balance will cover.

Core and Pro customers can buy credit packs for extra usage. Replit documents four pack sizes with increasing discounts for larger purchases, but the public documentation does not list the pack amounts or prices. Packs expire six months after purchase, do not renew, and do not roll over after expiry. Replit uses the pack that expires soonest first. See Managing Your Spend for the current purchase flow.

Replit Starter Free Plan: What You Get For $0

Starter is Replit's free plan for exploring the platform. The Starter plan documentation says the plan includes daily Agent credits up to a monthly cap, monthly cloud credits, Lite build, and one free published app. The daily credit amount and monthly cap are not publicly listed.

Included features:

  • Daily Agent credits that reset each day.
  • Monthly credits for production databases, object storage, and publishing. These reset each month.
  • Lite build for quick and focused edits.
  • Design Canvas and visual editing.
  • A built-in database for full stack apps.
  • One free published app. The link goes down after 30 days.
  • Private or password protected deployments.
  • A Replit badge on the free published app.

Features that require an upgrade:

  • Full build for more independent Agent work.
  • Converting a Design Canvas design to a full artifact.
  • Third party connectors and Replit AI Integrations.
  • Removing the Replit badge.
  • Additional published apps.
  • Plan Mode.
  • Artifact types beyond web and mobile apps, such as slide decks, videos, and data visualizations.

Starter works for a first prototype or a short evaluation. It will not suit a public production app because the free deployment ends after 30 days and the free Agent allowance has a monthly cap.

Replit Core Plan ($25 a month)

Replit Core is for personal projects and simple apps. It costs $25 a month on monthly billing, or $20 a month when billed annually. The plan includes $25 of monthly credits and up to five collaborators.

Core includes:

  • Everything in Starter.
  • Full build, Lite build, Design Canvas, and Visual Editor.
  • Plan Mode, task planning, and connectors.
  • All artifact types, including web apps, mobile apps, data visualizations, slide decks, and animated videos.
  • One active background task.
  • Up to two agents working in parallel, according to the pricing page.
  • Unlimited workspaces.
  • Unlimited published apps, subject to usage and deployment limits.
  • Publishing in any region.
  • Replit AI Integrations.
  • Removal of the Replit badge.

The simple allowance calculation is $25 of plan cost divided by $25 of monthly credits. That gives a nominal ratio of $1.00 per $1 of monthly allowance. The annual equivalent is $20 divided by $25, or $0.80 per $1 of allowance. This is a plan comparison only. Replit does not publish a fixed number of Agent tasks per Core plan.

Core is a sensible paid starting point when you need Full build, Plan Mode, connectors, or more than one published app. Keep a usage limit in place because Agent work, publishing, databases, storage, requests, and data transfer can all draw from the balance or create usage charges.

Replit Pro Plan ($100 a month)

Replit Pro is for commercial and professional builds. It costs $100 a month on monthly billing, or $95 a month when billed annually. The public plan includes $100 of monthly credits at the baseline tier, with higher credit tiers available.

Pro adds:

  • Up to 15 collaborators or builders with pooled credits and budget controls.
  • Up to 50 viewers.
  • Up to 10 parallel Agent tasks.
  • Access to the most powerful models.
  • Turbo mode.
  • Premium or priority support.
  • Database recovery for up to 28 days.
  • Tiered monthly credit options with discounts on larger tiers.
  • One month of rollover for unused subscription credits.

The baseline monthly calculation is $100 divided by $100 of monthly credits. That is a nominal ratio of $1.00 per $1 of allowance. The annual equivalent is $95 divided by $100, or $0.95 per $1 of allowance. These figures do not apply to larger Pro credit tiers, and they do not estimate the number of projects or tasks you can complete.

Pro makes sense when more than five builders need to work from one workspace, when pooled credits and budgets are useful, or when Turbo and priority support are worth the higher subscription price. Turbo is documented as up to 2.5 times faster, and requests cost about twice as much, so the speed setting can raise usage costs.

Replit Enterprise Plan

Enterprise pricing is custom. Replit's Enterprise plan page and pricing page list custom seat limits, SSO and SAML, advanced privacy controls, design system support, data warehouse connections, custom groups, dedicated support, single tenant environments, region selection, static outbound IPs, and VPC peering.

Enterprise also supports per user spend limits, private deployment rules, and source control settings. An Enterprise admin can ban source code export for the workspace, so export is a policy controlled capability rather than a universal promise. The public pages do not list a standard monthly price, annual price, credit allowance, or seat rate.

Choose Enterprise when identity, governance, networking, private environments, or procurement terms are part of the purchase. Ask for a quote that separates the platform fee, seats, credit tier, deployment model, and variable usage.

How Replit's Credit System Works

Replit uses a monthly credit balance for paid plans and usage based billing for Agent and cloud services. Agent uses effort based pricing, so simple edits usually cost less than complex features or integrations. Every Agent interaction is billable, including a Plan Mode conversation that only provides guidance and does not change code.

The same balance can cover Agent work, published apps, storage, databases, and Replit AI Integrations. Some Agent features use third party APIs, and Replit deducts those provider rate costs from your credits. Use the usage dashboard to see the cost by project, resource, workspace, or member.

Key things to know:

  • Starter and regular monthly cloud allowances reset according to the plan rules. Replit's publishing documentation says unused monthly credits do not roll over. Pro subscription credits are the documented exception and roll over for one month.
  • Credit packs are separate from subscription credits. Packs expire six months after purchase, do not renew, and do not roll over after expiry.
  • Replit does not publish a universal limit for credits used in one task. You can set usage limits and a service shutdown limit to control spending beyond the monthly allowance.
  • A fix, rerun, or planning request can use credits because every Agent interaction is billable. The public docs do not list a separate rerun price.
  • Credit packs are available to Core and Pro customers. The public docs list four sizes and larger pack discounts, but the pack amounts and prices are not publicly listed.

What Can You Build with Each Plan?

These are fit labels, not output guarantees. Actual output varies with request complexity, Agent mode, model choice, review cycles, database use, storage, traffic, and deployment type.

Replit vs Competitors: Pricing Comparison

These systems use different units. Replit's dollar credits, Lovable credits, Bolt tokens, and v0 credits are not equivalent. The comparison shows pricing structure and product fit, not how many apps each plan can build.

Key Differences To Consider

Replit vs Lovable: Replit combines Agent, a built in database, and several deployment types in one cloud development service. Lovable uses a shared workspace credit pool for building, Cloud, and AI features, and it supports unlimited workspace members. The better fit depends on whether you want Replit's cloud development controls or Lovable's workspace model.

Replit vs Bolt.new: Bolt measures usage in tokens and says project file syncing is a major source of token use. Replit uses effort based Agent billing and dollar credits that can also cover cloud services. Bolt may suit a buyer who prefers a token allowance and browser based code workflow, while Replit may suit a buyer who wants a broader Agent and deployment service.

Replit vs v0: v0 Plus is priced per user and includes Vercel deployment, GitHub sync, and per user credits. Replit Pro offers pooled credits for up to 15 builders without a public per user fee, but it has its own usage based charges. Choose based on your team's existing deployment stack and how you want to manage usage.

Annual vs Monthly Billing: What You Save

PlanMonthly billingAnnual billingAnnual savings
Core$25 × 12 = $300 per year.$20 × 12 = $240 per year.$60, or 20%.
Pro$100 × 12 = $1,200 per year.$95 × 12 = $1,140 per year.$60, or 5%.

These calculations use the monthly and annual equivalent prices displayed on the Replit pricing page. Taxes may apply based on location. Enterprise annual terms are not publicly listed.

Which Replit Plan Should You Choose?

Choose Starter if you want to test Replit with no subscription fee, use Lite build, and publish one app for up to 30 days.

Choose Core if you need Full build, Plan Mode, connectors, Replit AI Integrations, unlimited workspaces, or more than one published app. It is the clearest paid fit for a personal project or a simple app.

Choose Pro if you need pooled credits for up to 15 builders, up to 10 parallel tasks, the strongest models, Turbo mode, priority support, or one month of subscription credit rollover.

Choose Enterprise if you need SSO or SAML, custom seats, private environments, regional controls, VPC peering, dedicated support, or per user spend limits.

A founder can start with Starter, review the usage dashboard, and move to Core when the project needs Full build or public publishing beyond the free limit. Move to Pro when team size, parallel work, credit pooling, or support needs justify the higher price. Keep a spend limit in place because no public plan table converts credits into a fixed number of finished features.

Tips To Save Money On Replit

  • Start with Starter while you test the editor, Lite build, and first published app.
  • Use Plan Mode to clarify the work before asking Agent to change code. Replit says planning uses fewer tokens than code generation and editing.
  • Use Lite for small edits and Economy for routine builds. Save Power and Turbo for work that needs more capability or speed.
  • Set a usage limit and a service shutdown limit before you start a large build. These controls can block extra usage after the monthly credits are used.
  • Check the usage dashboard by project and resource so you can see whether Agent, publishing, databases, storage, or transfer is driving the bill.
  • Use credit packs for a temporary usage spike. Remember that packs expire after six months and do not roll over.
  • Use Turbo only when faster Agent work is worth the documented higher request cost.

Replit Pros And Cons

ProsCons
Full stack app building, a built in database, and publishing are available in one service.Agent interactions are billable, and effort based pricing makes task cost vary.
Core and Pro support collaboration, and Pro pools credits for up to 15 builders.Publishing, database, request, compute, storage, and data transfer usage can add to the bill.
Replit includes Git and GitHub tools for version control and project import.Starter's free published app goes down after 30 days and keeps the Replit badge.
Plan Mode, Agent modes, usage limits, budgets, and a usage dashboard provide cost controls.Public Apps are automatically MIT licensed, and commercial buyers must review the correct ownership and privacy terms.

Final Verdict: Is Replit Worth the Price?

Replit is a good fit when you want to build an app, use a managed database, publish it, and keep working in the same cloud environment. Core gives a founder or small team Full build, connectors, Plan Mode, and unlimited published apps for $25 a month on monthly billing, but the task and cloud costs are still usage based.

Pro is easier to justify when several builders share one workspace, when parallel Agent work reduces delays, or when priority support and stronger Agent modes have a clear business value. The $100 monthly subscription includes a $100 baseline credit balance, but Turbo, large projects, and live app usage can change the total cost.

Starter is useful for evaluation, and Enterprise is the route for identity, privacy, governance, and procurement needs. Replit is worth the price when those capabilities match your workflow and you set limits before usage grows. It is a poor fit if you need a fixed price per feature or a public, universal task cost.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Replit cost a month?

Starter is free. Core is $25 a month on monthly billing or $20 a month when billed annually. Pro is $100 a month on monthly billing or $95 a month when billed annually. Enterprise pricing is custom. See the current Replit pricing page.

How does the credit system affect pricing for a typical project?

Replit credits can cover Agent work, publishing, storage, databases, and other services. Agent uses effort based pricing, so the public documentation does not support one fixed project price. A small edit usually costs less than a complex feature, but the exact task cost is not publicly listed.

What is the difference between monthly credits and top up credits?

Monthly credits come with the subscription and apply automatically to eligible usage. Pro subscription credits roll over for one month. Top up credit packs are purchased separately, expire six months after purchase, do not renew, and do not roll over after expiry. The public docs do not list the pack amounts and prices.

Is there a limit on how many credits I can use in one task?

Replit does not publish a universal per task credit limit. Complex requests can cost more than simple requests, and every Agent interaction is billable. You can set a usage limit and a service shutdown limit to stop extra usage.

Is Replit's pricing predictable enough for business budgeting?

The Core and Pro subscription fees are clear, and the annual savings are easy to calculate. Total cost is less predictable because Agent effort, third party model use, publishing, requests, compute, databases, storage, and data transfer vary. Set limits and review the usage dashboard before you commit to a larger build.

What is the best Replit plan for a founder trying to ship an MVP fast?

Core is the usual fit when the founder needs Full build, Plan Mode, connectors, and unlimited published apps. Starter works for a short evaluation, while Pro fits a founder who needs a larger credit tier, parallel tasks, or a team of up to 15 builders. The right choice depends on usage and team size, not on a promise of a fixed number of completed features.

Do unused Replit credits roll over to next month?

Replit's public rules depend on the credit type. Pro subscription credits roll over for one month. Replit's publishing documentation says unused monthly credits do not roll over, and credit packs expire after six months without rollover. Starter, Core, and Enterprise details should be checked in the current billing view if the public page does not state the specific balance rule.
